Russian fashion brand "Made in China" was coined in Moscow at the end of 2009 by ex-model, stylist and designer Catherine Karnaukhova.

First store was opened at 15 October 2010 at Sverchkov Lane in Moscow. Another store was opened on November 24, 2011 in Stoleshnikov Lane after the end of tenancy in Sverchkova Lane. Thus, in the currently running a shop in Stoleshnikov Lane.
